We can easily enrich our ordinary, home life , organizing household chores, worries and worries as a Mindfulness practice. This is especially important for women, because it is always difficult for us to allocate special time for such useful practices as meditation. Well, why not start with simple maintenance at home? So, we use mindfulness, focus on the chosen object of household chores, set ourselves up positively and begin our usual activities. If reluctance, rejection or negative thoughts arise in the process, we do not develop them, but simply state with curiosity that, yes, this is happening at the moment, but we do not shift the focus.

For example, making the bed)) - We begin to listen to the sensations in our body during habitual movements. Every time we are distracted by a passing thought, sounds in the house or outside, we gently return our attention to making the bed.

 

Or we cook food)) - This is truly a whole meditative process. To begin with, let’s imagine the satisfied and grateful faces of our husband, children, friends, parents, our own happy and peaceful face, and with this wonderful message we’ll start cooking.

 

We focus on the process; if we cut vegetables, we observe how the knife gently slides along their surface, and how many new stripes, cubes, and circles are gradually formed from one whole. How the color, volume and consistency of the product changes during heat treatment. We notice how the aroma of the dish changes during the cooking process. We do not divert attention to extraneous thoughts and sounds, we completely devote ourselves to the process, because along with food prepared with our own hands, we share with our loved ones our energy, the energy that is present in us, so we will be as conscious as possible during this sacred action.

 

In general, Mindfulness can be practiced in any activity and at all It is not necessary to set aside a special time and place for this. So train your mind every day and become calmer, more balanced and happier.
