Mindfulness Practice 1:

So, let's start getting acquainted with Mindfulness with a simple practices.

If during practice there are any thoughts or emotions will arise in your mind, acknowledge them, but do not develop them and they will go away, the main thing is not to lose your focus. In the practices that we will consider, the focus can be on breathing, on areas of the body, on actions or objects - these are the most common points for concentration.

We begin our first Mindfulness technique :

1. Sit at the table and place a small object in front of you. This could be a cup, salt shaker, sugar bowl, vase, etc.

2. Look closely at the object for several minutes without touching it. Notice what makes it beautiful and unique without making value judgments.

3. Focus on your sensations - while remaining still, focus for a while on your physical sensations, where clothing touches your body, body touches the chair, and the pressure of your feet on the floor.

4. Spend a few minutes focusing your mind on sounds you can hear - it could be just the sound of your breathing or the neighbor's radio or the sound of a car in the yard.

5. Look back on the experience you just had - by focusing on the object, the sensations and then the sounds, you gave yourself a break from worries. Over time, this can become the main source for a mental reboot.
